The Federal Aviation Administration's Corrective Action Review Board has determined that a software issue in the flight computers of certain Boeing 737 MAX aircraft is not a safety concern, removing the most recent obstacle to certification of the 737 MAX 10, the largest member of the MAX family. The board met in Seattle and drew on FAA specialists from airframes, flight controls, propulsion and flight testing, and its determination was announced on Friday, October 2, 2026.
